Oak Grove Baptist Church Relay For Life Team
The Oak Grove Baptist Church Team is made up of survivors, friends and
family. The team has been a participant in the Trigg County Relay For Life
since it began 10 years ago. Each year the team holds numerous fundraisers to
raise money, in hopes of stopping the deadly disease that has touched many of
our church members.
Every May team members pack up and move to Trigg County School's Perdue
Field for 24 hours to continue their fundraising efforts. The team, along with
every other team participating, prepares for downpours, thunderstorms, and
even high winds. However, no matter what Mother Nature throws us we deal
with it-never losing sight of why we are there.
We are thankful to the community, fellow church members, family, friends, and
to the other teams for their support. We are grateful for donations received from
various sources-time, services, facilities and financially to make it a successful
